Depending on your student's grade level, multiple options on this page may appear.  Make sure to select "Magnet Application (On-time)" to apply to Southeast Career Technical Academy/SECTA.  Only incoming 9th and 10th graders may apply.  We do not accept incoming 11th and 12th graders.

In the search field type "Southeast Career Technical Academy".  Please make sure you select Southeast. If you select Southwest, we cannot change or transfer your student if they get selected there.

Verify your transportation eligibility at transportation.ccsd.net  A blue box appears above our school if you are eligible for bussing. If it does not appear, you are outside of our zone and must provide your own transportation.

*Our school only appears for students applying into the 9th or 10th grade. Unfortunately we do not take applications for 11th or 12th grade.

Apply for up to 3 programs (you will rank your choices in the next step). 

*Students must qualify for STEM programs, see Qualifications on sidebar for more information.

**Students accepted into Cosmetology must have a valid Social Security Card per the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology.

Non CCSD (Charter, Private, Home School, or Out of District): Please upload a copy of your FIRST SEMESTER report card*  Report card must include: 1st Quarter Grade, 2nd Quarter Grade, Semester Exam, and Semester Grade.

*You can submit your application now but you must go back into your application once the report card is posted to upload before the deadline at 3pm on January 9, 2024.

A successfully submitted application, will show a green check mark.  An incomplete or not submitted application,  will show a yellow circle that says "In Progress".  This step must be completed by January 10th, 2023 at 3PM.

Your application will say "Submitted & In Processing" until we receive first semester report card.  Due to the volume of applications, we cannot verify application status over the phone.  Only complete applications will be processed.
